Abstract

Modern organization theory tells us that an administrator's attitude toward the satisfaction of the needs of his subordinates is related to the administrator's personal characteristics. This article presents a statistical analysis of three administrator characteristics--age, education, and rank--as determinants of his attitude toward the satisfaction of his subordinates' need for economic security.
