Examines efficient wavelength switching in an In[sub 0.4]Ga[sub 0.6]As/GaAs self-organized quantum dot laser with an intracavity absorber section. Wavelength shift caused by a shift of lasing between the bound states of the quantum dots; Heterostructure of the quantum dot laser; Light-current characteristics.
