Abstract

The article focuses on the first undergraduate program in robotics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, Massachusetts. Major courses that have robotics training include computer science, electrical and computer engineering (ECE), and mechanical engineering (ME). The school's Robotics Engineering B.S. Program was created to prepare students for industry leadership roles. It also aims to enhance the interests of the students to pursue robotics and expose them to the need for an ability to master science and technology. The course will focus more on power, sensing, and navigation.
