Abstract

Investigates a molecule with the elemental formula of silicon carbide, a closed-shell singlet electronic ground states, and a planar rhomboidal geometry that consists of atoms in the shape of a distorted four-membered ring with a transannular carbon-carbon bond. Identification of the identity and precise determination of the length of rhomboidal silicon carbon through isotopic substitution.
