Abstract
- The article presents information on foreign trade and payments in North Korea as of November 2008. On September 21, 2008, North Korean newspaper "Rodong Sinmun" has accused South Korean President Lee Myung-bak of being a traitor for opposing a Northern workers' dormitory at the Kaesong Industrial Complex (KIC). North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has rejected Lee Myung-bak's Vision 3000 plan. The country reported an expansion of overseas air links as regular chartered flights were provided from Singapore to Pyongyang from September 17-October 2, 2008.
