Abstract: The article offers information on the relationship of National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) board of directors to its work and publications. It says that the president of NBER ensures that manuscripts for publication and conference proceedings do not include policy recommendations. The article adds that the NBER president presents all manuscripts to the directors before they are published. It notes that NBER will not publish any works until 45 days have passed from the notification of their publication.
