Abstract
- The article reports on the power of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to regulate tobacco in the country. It states that the Congress had passed the power to regulate tobacco to FDA under a bill, which U.S. President Barack Obama promised to sign. It states that the bill will empower the FDA to lower the nicotine level in tobacco products and requires large warning label to the tobacco packaging.
