Abstract
- The article discusses a court case involving a press operator who charged his company of allegedly subjecting him to a hostile work environment when it learned of his hepatitis C diagnosis. The U.S. District Court of Middle District of Florida concluded that the hostile work environment claim was woefully deficient since the plaintiff failed to show that working conditions were unbearable. The court ruled that the company had no obligation to change the essential strenuous requirements of a job.
