Abstract
- The relationship of the sex of department heads to climate as perceived by teachers was examined in 10 senior high schools. It was assumed that teachers' attitudes toward male and female department heads would be manifested in a measure of climate. The Organizational Climate Description Questionnaire (OCDQ) was the major instrument used in the investigation, along with measures of sense of power of the department head and ratings of department heads on aggressiveness, suggestibility, and knowledge of professional information.
