Abstract
- The article presents the clinical trial of resin bonded retainers. It is stated that there have been many improvements in resin bonded retainers since they were developed. As stated, the clinical and radiographic study requires careful examination and needs a framework design which must include abutment coverage which may help creating a correct path for insertion. It was observed that resin bonded retainers are a conservative form of prosthesis and cause no harm to the periodontal apparatus. The success or failure of this technique depends on the dentist's manual dexterity and experience.
