Abstract
- The article reports on the large municipal deal set by the state of California on April 22, 2009. It states that it was the fourth largest municipal deal in history amid back-drop of declining yield levels in the secondary market. It mentions that the state priced $6.85 billion of taxable general obligation bonds to fund infrastructure projects. These projects include $5.23 billion of Build America Bonds (BAB) which marked its largest deal by far.
