Abstract

This article discusses the impact of economic sciences, management sciences, and computer technology on the investment decision-making process. A knowledge of systems concepts has particular usefulness in the treatment of the information flows associated with the process. Meanwhile, the concepts of management science can be brought to bear on the design of decision-making strategies. On the other hand, econometric methods are highly useful to the investment organization in its studies of security prices and their relationships to other economic variables.
