Abstract
- Information about the fifth International Congress of Maritime History held in June 2008 in Greenwich, London, England is presented. In this event, 300 participants met to discuss more than 200 research papers that collectively demonstrated the breadth and increasing maturity of maritime history. Members in Greenwich also elected professor Jesús Valdaliso as the new president to guide the International Maritime Economic History Association over the next four years.
