Report: China's rapidly growing missile arsenal seen limiting U.S. options.

Abstract

The article reports that the U.S. Department of Defense's report on China's military has revealed growth in China's missile forces including ballistic and cruise missiles. According to the report, Chinese missile lethality is growing with development of maneuvering re-entry vehicles, multiple independently targeted re-entry vehicles (MIRV), decoys, chaff and anti-satellite weapons. The new systems, including long-range cruise missiles, is stated to improve strategic strike capabilities.
