ABA TREASURER'S REPORT.

The article presents information on the report presented by the treasurer of the American Bar Association. The treasurer has stated that with the good stewardship of his predecessor Bill Robinson and other professional staff, the Association has ended with a healthy surplus. He stated several financial accomplishments in 2008 including reduction in the associations debt related to the purchase of the DC headquarters by $2.7 million, provision of an additional $500,000 to the Enterprise Fund which encourages cooperation and collaboration among ABA entities and transferring $14.5 million to the Permanent Reserve to meet the association's targets.
