Introduction to Special Series: Measurement and Analysis of the Potential Long Term Impact of Pulp and Paper Mill Effluent on Receiving Waters.

The article presents an introduction to a series of articles on several topics related to the environment. These topics include pulp and paper mill's effects on aquatic communities, patterns of a fish community structure in a watershed-scale study, study on the long-term receiving water study, and pattern of macroinvertebrate assemblages in a watershed-scale study. Other subjects are periphyton chlorophyll, fathead minnows, a multitrophic level study on pulp and paper mill, and effects of polychlorinated dibenzofurans on mink.
