Abstract

The article discusses the results of a survey of top airline executives which found that carriers are not cutting back their marketing expenditures during the tough economic times. The Airline Business Marketing Survey conducted in 2009 found that more than 60 percent of respondents believes in spending more in marketing to try and stimulate demand. Qatar Airways considers a downturn as an opportunity to expand global reach.
