Abstract
- The article focuses on the implication of the short-term remuneration strategies to the banks in Great Britain. It notes that the country's bonus culture is symptomatic of a shorter term approach to banking that has led to inefficient systems integration policies. It points out that the banks can learn from practices abroad where the longer term strategies nurtured a culture of stability and greater process efficiency.
