Abstract
- The article reports on the approval of a certificate of need for two transmission lines in Minnesota in January 2009. The lines will run from the coal-fired Big Stone II power plant. This approval from the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission will allow cooperative firms owning the Big Stone II power plant to construct and upgrade transmission lines in the state.
