Antenna creates super broadband network.

The article presents the Broadband Antenna Tracking System (BATS) that can automatically locate, maintain and optimize a connection between two fixed or mobile wireless broadband access points in a matter of seconds. Developed by three professors from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana, the technology is said to use an integrated high-gain narrow beam antennas to track broadband communications over long distances. Industries that can use the technology include the offshore oil and the shipping industry.
