Abstract
- The article focuses on the arcimboldesque portraits in Margaret Cavendish's "Poems and Fancies." It states that William Cavendish's venture beyond the call of duty in the poem that he composed celebrates the first publication of "Poems and Fancies" of his wife Margaret. According to the article, the artistic toll of Margaret is not the lead pencil by her judicious and witty manipulation of figurative language. It also mentions that William punningly extolled Margaret's talent for drawing all things to all things.
