Abstract
- The article presents a study which examined the endodontic and prosthodontic management of an edentulous patient with skeletal class III malocclusion. The patient was fitted with removable coping-retained overdentures in the mandibular and maxillary arches to correct his difficulty with chewing and the mobility of his mandibular teeth. Endodontic treatment of the mandibular incisors, premolars, and molars was required prior to using them as abutments for overlying denture base material. The author also looks at the patient's gingival recession.
