Abstract
- The article features the Black Top Records of Hammond and Nauman Scott. It was in 1999, after releasing a hundred albums, when the brothers sold their company to the Internet company eMusic. Among the talents of Black Top Records include the pianist Henry Butler, guitarist Snooks Eaglin, and singer Tommy Ridgely. The name of the company was suggested by the New Orleans music writer Jeff Hannusch.
