Abstract: The article offers news briefs related to the food and hospitality industry in New Zealand. Chef Simon Gault's new book "Nourish," features recipes from the restaurants under his control including Euro and the Jervois Steak House in Auckland and Pravda and Shed 5 in Wellington. The Big Picture, an interactive wine show famous in Cromwell where it originated, has come to Auckland in 2009. The annual Cuisine Champions of Cheese awards will be announced in March 2009.
