Abstract
- The article explores how critics, centralists and critics read Maritime literatures as well as provides information on the practices involved in reading them. According to the author, it is important to know what critics have to say about these type of literature since they can tell a great deal of cultural conditioning that is significant in understanding the true context of a literary piece. In addition, it affirms that maritime reading practice revolves within the theory which enjoins art and social practice.
