Abstract: A conference paper that discusses the results of a research study conducted to determine the germicidal activity of dimethyl benzyl lauryl ammonium choride (DC-12), a quaternary ammonium salt, is presented. The germicidal activity of DC-12 was compared in an in vitro experiment to that of phenol and to pyogenic cocci with agar and serum.
