Abstract

The article presents a study which evaluated the residual stress profiles of practical size lanthanum gallate-based cells in radial direction. Employing an x-ray diffraction technique with synchrotron radiation, the study measured the residual stress profiles of cells with lanthanum electrolyte. An elaboration of the decrease in residual stress profiles of cells after an electric power generation is offered.
