Chapter XX of the book "Tom Swift Among the Fire Fighters," by Victor Appleton is presented. It highlights the letter from a firm that showed interest on the dye formulae of Baxter which gave him the chance to trail and prove that Field and Melling were in possession of his stolen dye formulae. It narrates the risk and chances taken by Tom when he piled into his airship the largest and heaviest load of chemicals it had ever carried.
