Abstract
- The author reports that those who attended the Fifth World Workshop on Oral Health and Disease in AIDS supported the Phuket Declaration. Specific areas that those who attended the event promised to work on include the creation of information resources regarding oral health issues faced by HIV-positive patients and to include oral health into a national health surveillance system regarding health issues faced by HIV-positive patients.
