From the Front Lines of Interoperability.

Information about several topics discussed at the meeting of the International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ICG) in Pasadena, California is presented. The committee has agreed that the ideal interoperability would be given much lower priority than the requirements of national security and national or regional leadership. The committee also decided that negotiations toward interoperability would be bilateral.
