Abstract

The author comments on the increased restrictions issue of the Federal Government on academic freedom in the U.S. The author cites how the academic community in the country witnessed the government's restraints to the scientific and scholarly pursuits and cites how it threatens the academic freedom. In addition, the government has made direct prevention against the open presentation of declassified research outcomes in several academic conferences.
