Abstract
- The article presents an inquiry regarding violations to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The inquirer asked whether requiring students to pass plagiarism documents to their instructors is a violation of students' rights under FERPA. The Family Policy Compliance Office (FPCO) responded that such documents are not included as education records of the students; thus, passing plagiarism documents is not a violation to students' rights.
