Abstract
- The article reports on the test conducted by Waste Management Inc. on its Peterbilt 320 waste collection vehicles which were installed by hydraulic and electric hybrid systems in Fort Worth, Texas. The company anticipates that the systems will reduce greenhouse gas emissions as well as enhance operations through the utilization of fuel-efficient equipment and alternative fuels. In addition, the hybrid systems will offer severaal benefits to the environment.
