Abstract
- The article presents a study to give more information on some of the factors that may affect the results of test methods and establish some procedures for a routine-based quality control of the electrical resistivity during concrete construction. The study was based in the four-electrode testing of the electrical resistivity and included different probe spacing and geometry of the specimens of the test. The results of the test are presented as relative resistivities obtained by the two different test methods in order to describe the effect of the different factors that may affect the resistivity. The results concluded that the four-electrode method is a suitable test method for performance-based quality control of electrical resistivity and concrete durability during concrete construction.
