Abstract

The article focuses on the significance of natural learning process in music teaching. The natural learning process is the method used by young children when they first learn to walk. The process involves the element of imagery. In the process, instead of controlling the whole process of learning, teacher should outline the goal, create the desire to learn and let the student manage the rest. It is stated that students need assistance for developing a target of where they're going. One mode of motivating students is stated to make them listen to a recording of a piece they are working on and then to desire of playing up to that standard. After developing a mental image and providing a model for the students, a music teacher is advised to motivate students wanting to learn.
