Abstract
- The article focuses on the idea of introducing intelligence studies as an academic discipline in several countries including Canada, Germany, and the U.S. During the 1970s, many official inquiries, startling revelations, conspiracy theories, and some popular fiction and films, helped awaken academe to the relevance of intelligence to the policies and conduct of international affairs. The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency aims at encouraging the inclusion of intelligence content in teaching.
