Abstract
- The article informs that talent manager Bernadette Carter has been charged on September 25, 2008 in Los Angeles Superior Court with 12 violations of the Advance-Fee Talent Services Law. There was also a 13th charge of maintaining an unlicensed community-care facility. She could serve six months in jail and pay a $1,000 if convicted of running an unlicensed group home. The City Attorney's Office alleges that Carter housed many of her underage clients in two or three modest houses.
