Abstract

In this paper, we present the analysis of the <superscript>6</superscript>He+<superscript>12</superscript>C elastic scattering at 18.0 MeV within the framework of the double folding model. In order to make a comparative study, we have used four different types of nucleon density distributions for the ground state of the <superscript>6</superscript>He in the microscopic potential calculations. We have observed that all these density distributions provide a consistent description of the elastic scattering angular distributions for this system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
