Abstract
- The article reports on the opening of the Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. (HERC) in Shanghai, China in 2008. HERC's initial product line consists of aerial lifts and air compressors and generators. The company will also expand to include cranes, excavators, rollers, and wheel loaders. HERC President Gerry Plescia explained that their launch in China is part of their geographical expansion plan.
