Abstract: The article presents announcements of the 2009 nominations for various awards related to ecology in the U.S. These awards include the Sewall Wright Award, the most prestigious award given by the American Society of Naturalists (ASN), the E. O. Wilson Naturalist Award which given to those active investigators who had made and outstanding contributions for the protection of ecosystem and the organism. And lastly, the ASN election which conducted for the 2009 set of officers.
