Abstract
- A conference paper is presented that discusses the content and practical importance of academic publishing in Europe. Implications of a law regulating copyrights in Germany's information society are examined. Ways in which the publishing industry will be altered through user access to the Internet are also discussed. The paper introduces a talk by Ronald Schild concerning a publishing platform for German texts.
