Debt Maturity and Relationship Lending.

The article presents a study on the involvement between bank debt maturity and relationship lending, using a distinct survey sample of 3,366 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from 19 European countries. Accordingly, the formation of institutional environment through proper knowledge on relationship lending, promotes better understanding on present institutional changes. Moreover, the result of the study, had been implied with the new rules of European community which give further impact in SME access to bank differing with others, determined by the operations of the country firm.
