Abstract
- The article focuses on a study which examines the medical significance of the improved reversibly switchable fluorescent proteins (RSFPs) by Stefan Jakobs and colleagues at the Max Planck Institute in Germany. The study found out that fluorescent proteins having new photoswitching properties permit multilabel imaging at a single detection wavelength and dual-color supperresolution microscopy. Moreover, Jakobs and colleagues are expecting to see further developments on RSFP.
