Abstract

This article presents a literary criticism of six books that focus on science in the Soviet Union during the rule of Josef Stalin. Some of these include "Stalin's Great Science: The Times and Adventures of Soviet Physicists," by Alexei B. Kojevnikov; "Stalin and the Soviet Science Wars," by Ethan Pollock; and "Doing Medicine Together: Germany and Russia Between the Wars," edited by Susan Gross Solomon.
