Abstract
- Chapter XIV of the book "From Boyhood to Manhood: Life of Benjamin Franklin" by William M. Thayer is presented. It highlights the event wherein Benjamin began to write poetry at the age of seven and cites that the frequent poetic addresses of his uncle Benjamin inspired him to try his hand at the art. Moreover, it describes the astonishment of his brother James about his writing ability.
