Chapter IV of the book "From Boyhood to Manhood: Life of Benjamin Franklin," by William M. Thayer is presented. It features the uncle of Benjamin, whom he was named after. It also describes the interest vested by Benjamin's uncle on his namesake as well as the many letters that his uncle wrote about him and his family.
