Abstract
- Chapter XXXV of the book "Autobiography of Andrew Dickson White," Volume II, by Andrew Dickson White is presented. It discusses the conditions and characters of Russians and their hostility to the Russian-Germans. The cholera outbreak at St. Petersburg, the preventive measures enforced by the government, and the difficult imposition of sanitary regulations among peasants are highlighted. An investigation of the death of Emperor Peter III is also presented.
