Abstract: Chapter 12 of the book "Antwerp to Gallipoli: A Year of the War on Many Fronts and Behind Them" is presented. It explores the experiences of Turkish soldiers on their way to the end of the peninsula. It states that there were still gunfires and explosion of bombs over the land, however, the soldiers continue their journey across Marmora. Coronel Shukri Bey thought that the Turkish soldiers must develop their military strengths and bring back the desire for peace.
