Abstract
- A literary criticism of the book "The Early Latin Verb System: Archaic forms in Plautus, Terence, and Beyond," by Wolfgang David Cirilo de Melo is presented. A detailed discussion about Archaic Latin is given. The last part of the book looks consideration at the origins of the forms and their survival in the classical and post-classical language.
