Abstract
- The article announces the June 17, 2008 implementation of the International Children's Digital Library Foundation's ClearText technology, which improves the readability of books available in its free online collection. ClearText removes the text of a scanned page from the image of the book itself, and then displays the text on top of the image of the book.
